Our Annual Art Auction will be held this year on April 13th, 2012. The South Peace Art Society is a registered charity, and the art auction is our principal fundraiser.This year we have decided that instead of a themed night as in the past, we will offer an Elegant Gala for our auction goers. This is a new direction that the South Peace Art Society is attempting with great enthusiasm. The Gala is to be held at the Best Western Banquet room with full supper and classical entertainment.

We are presently welcoming donations of original art to incorporate into the auction.  All pieces selected for live auction will be featured in a full colour catalogue which will be used for promotional purposes, as well as the evening of the auction by purchasers. We have extensive radio (both in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John), television and print advertising connected to our event. All donated pieces selected for live and silent auctions will be featured on our website along with a short feature of each artist’s artistic achievements ie; awards, exhibitions, education etc. Because of the extensive amount of preparation for a catalogue along with dramatic web design/promotion, we kindly request you to have your donation to the Dawson Creek Art Gallery by Thursday March 15th. The catalogue will be put to press shortly after this date. Please include a short biography with your piece (Approximately 5 lines) that we can include in print and on the web. If you are having your work framed let us know, as it easier to photograph the work before the glass goes on.  If you would like to have more infor
