Stage North’s James and the Giant Peach opens live on stage February 15 for 5 shows. This well-known story by Roald Dahl brings the creatures of the garden alive with an exciting journey, lots of colour, and fun dialogue that both children and adults will enjoy. A special “kid friendly” starting time of 7pm at the North Peace Cultural Centre in Fort St. John makes it perfect for grandparents to bring their grandchildren. Oscar Night on the Big Screen with Fashions and Art made of CD’s and DVD’s is February 24 at On the Rocks. Prizes, draws, fashion and dance exhibits plus the Academy Awards on the big screen make for a great evening. Stage North is still accepting registrations for the fashion competition.
