Feature Article #3 – Wild Words North Student Reading
The 2019 Wild Words North Writing Festival and Art Exhibit will showcase regional writers of all ages. On Sunday, September 29th, from 10am – 12 pm, a student reading will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at the North Peace Cultural Centre in Fort St. John.

Here is a look at two international students from Northern Lights College who will be reading at this event.
Ly Le is an international student from Vietnam. Currently pursuing an Associates of Arts Degree at Northern Lights College, Ly is also a writer. “Writing makes me understand myself and calms my soul. My works focus on slices of life, the beauty in simple things and how destiny ties people together.”
A second international student who will be sharing her work is Mili Patel. Dynamic, energetic and a creative child at heart, she has accomplished dual degrees back in her homeland of India. A registered nurse pursuing a Post Degree Diploma in Business Management, Mili is also passionate about writing poetry and short stories.
