Artist Statement: The image is of a pair of worn out working boots in different colours. The Canadian workplace is comprised of people of many different colours. This painting is a depiction of the contributions people bring to industries, regardless of their backgrounds, race, gender and affiliations. It is also a depiction of how different people have to work together to be effective and move forward—depending on each other for progress.
