Artist Statement: This scene is from a spot that I pass when walking or jogging near my home where Fish Creek runs through a culvert. I enjoy watching the rise and fall of the creek and the colours of the seasons. This is part of a series of paintings that reflect my enjoyment of a scene that is familiar but ever-changing.
