Artist Statement: Three Bowls – One handmade mold. I am inspired by nature and its history. Its textures and colours. Bowl 1 is rolled slab clay built onto a form/mold I created. Embellishments (ammonite) and textures used to create my beloved fossilized look. An earthy but fiery glaze applied with some flux to enhance the run and layer of the glaze.
