Artist Statement: Three Bowls – One handmade mold. I am inspired by nature and its history. Its textures and colours. With Bowl 3 I used a different clay from the previous bowls. A speckled buff clay. It was a melding of Bowls 1 and 2 and became the largest one and the sturdiest. I used an earthy glaze that showcases the manganese spleckle of clay and added fluxing enabled a flowing of buttery layers.
