Artist Statement: On one of my many trips to Jasper, I admired the sweep of the water against the hills as one leaves the park going east. I stopped to do sketches and photos which evolved into this paining. The morning light as it hits the hills is what attracted me as well as the huge sweep of the water you see from this view.
