Artist Statement: The Royal, mystical cat has a rich and long history. Originally from Thailand (formally known as Siam), descriptions of Siamese cats are found in the ancient manuscripts of “Tamra Maew” (The Cat Book Poems) written in the 14th and 18th century.

The Siamese are very affectionate and smart cats. They seek and enjoy the companionship of humans and will often bond strongly with their favourite humans. The kittens are extremely vocal and will demand your attention with a loud, low-pitched voice. These cats require a lot of love and attention and in return they make for the  most ideal companions. Enchanting and captivating, it is their loyal and affectionate personality that makes them perfect for my Covid “bubble.”
