Artist Statement: The VW bug under a deep blue sky with fluffy clouds meshes delightfully well with ongoing daydreams to escape. The road sign indicates the conflicts within the daydreamer during the present restrictions of a global pandemic. The desire to contribute toward bending and flattening the curve while at the same time having a deep want to bend the rules and get out and see the world.
