Artist Statement: We visited this park once and were told that there was a waterfall up the trail a ways. We didn’t reach it. Two years later we visited the same park and found out that if we had just rounded the bend the first time, we would have been rewarded with the sight we saw this time! Such a beautiful sight. So peaceful, refreshing and energetic at the same time. I have always loved waterfalls and love the challenge of capturing just the right moment in time so I can share a note in this still life portrait of time standing still. This moment sings to me of memory, laughter and peace.
