The 40th Annual Open Sky – Peace Liard Regional Art Exhibit opening reception took place on Friday, May 6th in Tumbler Ridge.

This year’s exhibit was organized by the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council and the Tumbler Ridge Community Arts Council, and hosted by the Tumbler Ridge Global Geopark Society.

The exhibit is located downstairs at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Information Center, 265 Southgate Street, and is open until May 30th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm seven days a week.

The exhibition showcases the immense artistic talent residing in Northeastern BC, and features 104 submissions by 46 artists in oil painting, beadwork, woodcarving and more. Congratulations to all the artists and thank you for sharing your work with the region!
